HS Roundup: Frontier baseball earns third win of the season following 5-0 shutout over Hopkins (PHOTOS)

Make it three wins in a row to open the season for the Frontier baseball team.
Going on the road and taking on Hopkins Academy in Suburban League West action on Wednesday, Joey Hutkoski tossed six scoreless innings before Carter Miller shut things out in the seventh, allowing the Redhawks to move to 3-0 with a 5-0 victory in Hadley.
Hutkoski struck out five and walked three while Miller struck out two in the win.
Ben Caron went 2-for-3 with two steals, a run and an RBI, Kaden James singled to drive in a run while Miller stole two bases and scored twice for Frontier.
Pioneer 14, Easthampton 0 (5) — Evan Tsipenyuk pitched all five innings for the Panthers, striking out seven, while allowing just one walk and one hit as Pioneer rolled to a Suburban League West victory in Easthampton on Wednesday.
Jackson Campbell, Ethan Quinn and Brody Welcome each tallied a hit and an RBI while Jackson Glazier drove in a pair of runs in the winning effort.
Drury 13, Mahar 0 (5) — The Blue Devils scored three in the second and 10 in the third. On the mound, they didn’t allow the Senators to get a hit as Drury pulled away with a victory in Orange Wednesday.
Freeland Ringer struck out three while Hunter Brooks added two strikeouts on the hill for Mahar.
