Protesters gather at Memorial Park in Orange on Saturday as part of “Hands Off!,” a national mobilization day in which residents held demonstrations to rally against actions taken by President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk, and executive orders and policies put in place, since January. We stand with millions of Americans to call for a stop to the illegal destruction of our government and our economy by Trump, his billionaire allies and the Republican administration. We say ‘Hands Off!’ the many programs paid for by our tax dollars — health care, education, veterans’ services, libraries, Social Security, SNAP, support for seniors and people with disabilities, and more. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.”
