Greenfield’s Savannah Thomas left the Knights of Columbus State Hoop Shoot with some hardware on Saturday. 

Competing in the age 10 girls group, Thomas won the championship by making the most shots at Holliston Middle School. Thomas qualified after winning the local and Western Mass. qualifiers at Franklin County’s YMCA.

Turners Falls tourney

The inaugural Golf Tournament to Benefit Turners Falls High School Baseball is scheduled for May 10 at Thomas Memorial. 

The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The cost is $90 per person or $360 per team. Registration includes a golf cart, cash prizes and hot dogs on the course. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward funding dugouts for the baseball fields at Turners Falls High School.

Frontier youth clinics

Frontier is hosting co-ed youth wrestling clinics throughout April and May.
