NMH benefit concert to support Meals on Wheels

GILL — Those looking to support LifePath’s Meals on Wheels program while enjoying music are invited to a free benefit concert, to be held at Northfield Mount Hermon School’s Rhodes Arts Center on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m.

From the NMH instrumental ensembles, the concert band and orchestra, musical selections will include “Flight of the Flutes” by James D. Ployhar, “Little English Suite” by Clare Grundman, “America” from “West Side Story,” Sir Edward Elgar’s “Serenade for Strings” and “The Girl with the Flaxen Hair” by Claude Debussy.

Tea and cookies at intermission will be followed by the jazz ensemble playing Count Basie, Frank Sinatra and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” by Frankie Valli.
