WENDELL — A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a collision between a Chevrolet Equinox and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle near the intersection of Wendell Depot Road and Farley Road on Monday afternoon.

The Leverett Police Department, the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section, troopers with the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and the Wendell Fire Department responded after the crash was reported at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Leverett Police Department provides policing services to Wendell through an inter-municipal agreement.

Orange Ambulance transported the injured man to the hospital, Leverett Police Chief Scott Minckler said.

Minckler said the crash is under investigation. As of around 6:30 p.m., Minckler noted that no assumptions could be made concerning which vehicle struck which.

Leverett Police could not provide an update on the injured man’s condition.
