Nomination papers available in Conway

CONWAY — Nomination papers for the June 12 annual town election are available at the Town Clerk’s Office through April 24.

Positions up for grabs include: Selectboard, Board of Assessors, Frontier Regional School District School Committee, Board of Health (two seats), constable (three seats), Conway Grammar School Committee (two seats) and Planning Board (two seats). The moderator and town clerk positions are also up for reelection.

Papers must be picked up at the Town Clerk’s Office by April 22 and returned by April 24. The Town Clerk’s Office is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

April 18 is last day to register to vote in Deerfield

DEERFIELD — The last day to register to vote in Deerfield’s May 5 annual town election is April 18.

The following positions will be on the ballot: Selectboard, Board of Assessors, constable, the Elector Under the Oliver Smith Will, Frontier Regional School District School Committee, Tilton Library trustee, Deerfield Elementary School Committee (two seats) and Planning Board (two seats).

Deerfield Town Hall, 8 Conway St., is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

April 15 marks last day to register to vote in Sunderland

SUNDERLAND — The final day to register to vote for Sunderland’s May 3 annual town election is April 15.

This year’s election will see the following positions on the ballot: Board of Assessors, Selectboard, Board of Health, moderator, Planning Board, Riverside Cemetery trustee, Sunderland Elementary School Committee, Frontier Regional School District School Committee, town clerk, town park trustee and Sunderland Public Library trustee (three positions).

The Sunderland Town Offices, 12 School St., are open on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Last day to obtain nomination papers for Whately election is April 17

WHATELY — Folks looking to claim one of the 13 positions that are up for election this year should pick up nomination papers by April 17 and have them returned to the town clerk by April 22, at 5 p.m.

This year’s election will see more than a dozen positions on the ballot with the moderator, Selectboard, town clerk, Whately Elementary School Committee, Board of Assessors, cemetery commissioner, Board of Health, water commissioner and Elector Under the Oliver Smith Will, as well as two S. White Dickinson Memorial Library trustees and two constable seats, all up for election.

Whately’s election will be held June 10 at Town Hall. If residents would like a mail-in ballot, they can submit an application by June 4. There will be no early in-person voting.

The Town Clerk’s Office is open on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
