TURNERS FALLS — The United Arc is collaborating with the Shea Theater Arts Center for its second annual Arc-a-Palooza fundraiser, bringing together award-winning musicians from across western Massachusetts.
Shea Theater is hosting a lineup of musicians that includes headliner Evelynroze as well as John Waynelovich, The Bromatics and Alex Casavant on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. Arc-a-Palooza 2 will serve as a fundraiser benefiting The United Arc, a non-profit that provides support and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Our annual events — Arc-a-Palooza, our Flutie Foundation 5K in June and our softball tournament in September — give our agency a chance to share our message with community members who may not know what The United Arc is and who it supports,” said Fred Warren, CEO of The United Arc. “The fundraising money allows us to offer more activities for our participants.”
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available on the Shea Theater’s website, sheatheater.org, and are being offered on a sliding scale from $20 to $50.
Headlining the lineup is Worcester-based singer-songwriter Evelynroze, who is known for powerful vocals and an energetic stage presence. Coming off her Worcester Music Award wins for Best Upcoming Artist in 2023 and Best Female Vocalist in 2024, Evelynroze is expected to deliver a set filled with rock and country songs and will also give an advocacy speech at the event.
John Waynelovich and Alex Casavant are both returning to Arc-a-Palooza after being part of the inaugural event last year. According to Warren, all the musicians are performing free of charge to ensure as much money as possible goes directly to The United Arc.
“[The performers’] support of our agency in this way is so tremendously appreciated,” Warren said.
Following the tradition set at last year’s concert, the evening will end with a performance by The United Arc’s a capella group, Arc-a-pella, made up of individuals supported by the organization.

“It is our hope that as many people as possible know of the amazing supports offered by The United Arc, the tremendous staff doing this work and the incredible folks supported by our agency,” Warren said.
After the success of last year’s inaugural show in collaboration with the Shea Theater, The United Arc is hoping to continue working with the venue to host more events like this in the future.
