MONTAGUE — The First Congregational Church of Montague’s roast pork supper, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, has been canceled.
ERVING — The following programs are offered regularly at the Erving Senior & Community Center:
■On the first Tuesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Public Health Nurse Lisa White offers blood pressure checks and answers health-related questions. No need for an appointment; walk-ins are welcome.
■On the first Wednesday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m., a veterans services representative assists veterans with paperwork and helps them obtain services they might be eligible for. No appointments are needed; walk-ins are welcome.
■On the first Thursday of each month, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts offers its brown bag distribution program for income-qualifying individuals. Applications are available at the center. Participants must be at least 55 years old or have a documented disability for which they receive benefits through Social Security.
■Bingo is offered every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Snacks and drinks are provided, though most players bring their own lunch to enjoy together before the start of the games. The cost is $2.
■Toenail clipping sessions are offered on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The cost to seniors is $7. An in-home nail clipping service is also available. Call Mindy at 978-544-2587 for details.
