Bank to host pollinator presentation

TURNERS FALLS — Residents can visit the Greenfield Savings Bank branch at 282 Avenue A on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 2 p.m. to learn about pollinators from pollinator habitat designer Tom Sullivan.

Feeding the next generation of pollinators is essential for their survival. It starts with flowers to make the nectar and pollen that provides their energy to fly, and protein to mate and build nests. Residents are invited to come hear how they can make a difference in the survival of native bees and butterflies. Their survival depends on the plants chosen for yards and gardens.
