GILL — Nomination papers for Gill’s annual town election are available through Thursday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office.
All offices require at least 20 signatures from registered Gill voters. Nomination papers must be returned by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 31.
A Selectboard seat and a Board of Health seat will be on the ballot. The incumbents are not seeking reelection as Selectboard member Randy Crochier is stepping down after 15 years and Erika Heilig is leaving the Board of Health after three years.
The other offices on the ballot include assessor (three-year term), cemetery commissioner (three-year term), Board of Health member (three-year term) and library trustee (three-year term). Incumbents who are seeking re-election are William Tomb (assessor), Gary Bourbeau (cemetery commissioner) and Jacob Morrow (library trustee).
Call the Town Clerk’s Office at 413-863-8103 if you are interested in running for any of the offices on the ballot. The annual town election will be held Monday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Gill Town Hall. The deadline to register to vote is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9.
ERVING — Teens ages 11 to 19 can design their own pendants, key chains and necklaces at the Erving Public Library on Tuesday, March 18, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
