This question for Donald Trump requires a simple yes or no answer. Will you pardon Riley Jane English, who conceded to detention for her arrest in Washington, D.C., for telling police she wanted to kill top Republicans?

Perhaps before you answer, you might want to consider the fact that you pardoned 1,500 people who were convicted by their peers of crimes they committed, not just telling police they wanted to commit, and serving sentences for attacking Capitol Police officers with implements, breaking windows, smashing statues, smearing feces on walls and shouting threats to “Hang Mike Pence,” among other offenses.
