“We told the truth. We obeyed the law. And we kept the peace.” — from Walter Mondale’s posthumous eulogy for President James Carter.

Donald Trump cannot live up to something he’s already broken. What a stain on America’s soul that we now have a 34-count felon, convicted by a jury of his peers, coming into the position of president. Just because we have a great nation, and our nation has always been great, does not mean we make good decisions.

In my opinion, Jan. 20, 2025 will be a very sad day for America.
