The sixth PVIAC indoor track meet of the season took place at Smith College on Sunday, with Frontier, Greenfield and Pioneer competing in the early meet while Athol and Mohawk Trail competed in the late meet. 

There were a number of local winners. 

In the early meet, Frontier’s Ben Cachiguango won the boys 55 hurdles (8.07 seconds), Pioneer’s Louise Flagollet took first in the girls high jump (four feet, 10 inches) while fellow Panther Sahana Heilman won the girls long jump (15-2.5). 

In the late meet, Athol’s Karleigh Chase finished in first in the girls shot put (28-10) while Mohawk Trail’s Virginia Krezmien won the girls 1,000 (3:24.48).
