The Greenfield High School football team joined the other Recorder area programs — Franklin Tech, Frontier, Athol and Mahar — in kicking off the 2024 high school football season on Friday.

Schools moved through conditioning drills in preparation of the new season.

Greenfield opens its schedule Sept. 13 at Chicopee.
