Earlier this year, three Massachusetts artists were chosen to create six wheatpaste murals total to decorate the town of Montague, a public art project funded by a $15,000 grant. The opening day of the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association (MSTCA) West Heptathlon and Decathlon got underway on Monday at Frontier Regional School in South Deerfield. The heptathlon and decathlon are combined events in track and field where athletes compete in multiple disciplines. The heptathlon is a seven-event competition that the girls compete in while the decathlon is a 10-event competition for the boys.
