Krasco takes silver at New England Track & Field Championships

The 2025 New England Interscholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championship took place at Veterans Stadium in New Britain, Connecticut over the weekend, with Mahar’s Mitchell Krasco putting together another impressive performance against the best athletes in the region. 

The senior qualified for the meet in the triple jump, where he hit a mark of 46 feet, 2.5 inches. That leap was good enough for second place on the day. Catholic Memorial’s Amar Skeete was the winner (48-2). 

Mohawk Trail’s Chay Mojallali qualified for the meet in the boys high jump, where he hit a top height of 6-0 to finish in a tie for 14th. 

A pair of Pioneer girls qualified for the meet. Louise Flagollet competed in high jump, hitting a mark of 5-0- to finish in a tie for 22nd. Natalie Rios competed in javelin, where she had a top toss of 103-9 to take 20th.
