Bulletin board: Day 5 Massachusetts Shotgun Deer Hunting Season

A total of 36 deer were checked to Franklin County stations on Friday, capping Day 5 of Massachusetts Shotgun Deer Hunting Season.

The largest buck was checked by Northwood, N.H.’s Randy Herk — a 176-pound, 11-pointer at the Orange Gun Club.

At Sunderland Hatchery, Hadley’s Raymond Rex III checked two deer, while Raymond Rex IV also earned a deer tag on Friday.
